Griddle Re-Handle with Pear Wood

An intricate leaf design carving with pear wood, to re-handle a griddle frying pan, with accompanying leather tie hang.
A goregeous peace of pear wood with no radial splits!
Cutting it down to size against the original plastic handle!
Shaping out the knotch for the metal sleeve.
Rounded off and smoothed down ready for caving!
Drawing out the leaf design!
Carving out the highs and lows of the embosed leaves.. all done with my Mora Knife!
Leaf design finished and 5 coats of linsead oil applied!
Epoxy onto the griddle!
Almost Finished!
Last Touch.. A Leather Tie Hang!
